ATHENS, TX— Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) Inland Fisheries biologists tagged and stocked 20,000 6-inch largemouth bass earlier this month as part of an ongoing effort between the state's Operation World Record and Budweiser ShareLunker programs.

Now in its 20th year, the ShareLunker program has accepted 391 trophy-class largemouth bass donated by anglers and used them for spawning stock in an effort to increase the number and size of trophy largemouth bass caught in Texas.
