I will be going by Rockport today and will let you guys know what the conditions are upon my return. The only post I have seen said "that people were walking on the ice on the south end". Unfortunately, I will not be able to do any thicknick test because I had some minor surgery Thursday and moverment is limited[
].

I've never fished Rockport but that's one place I want to try this winter. I didn't even make it out at all last year so I'm pretty antsy to make it this season. Take it easy on your recovery. That pigout perch chowder sounds good - how do you make it? Thanks.

I stoped by Rock Port on the way back from the Berry today. Only drove to the dam. The water was caped from the dam out about 150',seen 1 guy ice fishing looked kinda suicidal to me. From a distance the south end looked caped with a blaket of snow on it. In between the dam and the south end it was a mixture of water and ice. Its trying to freeze completely over but not quite there yet.

[cool][#0000ff]Pig Out Perch Chowder is one of my recipes. Of course it is top secret, and you are forbidden to pass it along to more than a thousand of your most trusted friends and/or family members.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I am attaching a Word doc version. As you will see, it is very flexible and you can mess with it to suit your own tastes.[/#0000ff]

Yup riding has taken over her life for now, she still once in a while pulls the stuff out and looks it over to make sure I haven't stolen anything good and she still wants to go out fishing, but.....horses are horses and they require lots of attention and money (ouch). I've attached a pic for you of her. This is her horse Murfei (pronounced Murphy). Dakota still asks about you and Delores. You still in the same place?
