Does anyone out there know how the ice is on Big Sand Wash Reservoir? Also how the fishing has been since the dam was rebuilt?

Is the dam reconstruction project complete at Big Sand Wash? Early this past fall, sand wash was nothing more than a small puddle of water with alot more to be done to finish the dam and the feeder canals to fill it. I love to fish Big Sand Wash, and have missed not being able too the last few years due to the project. I talked to a project manager, and they told me this past summer they hope to fill it with this next springs run off.

I am from upalco and I am about 98% sure the dam project is not yet complete and from what I understand won't be until next year, but I could be wrong. I hate to see it take so long because i have sure caught a lot of big trout out of there in the past and would love to see the glory days come back,
