Today i got to visit one of the state hatcheries where they have the brood stock albino trout, as i was conversing with one of the biologists he said to me that they were thinking of doing away with the stocking of the albinos due to a lack of interest.

to hear, i have not caught an albino yet, but i would love to, they are an awesome looking fish. what are your thoughts?

I've got no problem with the albinos...caught a few in the day. Nothing really special about them other than the color.

I went to Mirror Lake last year and caught a few. I thought they were fun. You could see them a long ways out in the water when they hit your bait. They fought as good as any trout. Why not keep them?

we go to millhollow every year and catch albinos they are some good looking fish

nothing wrong with the albino's. caught several throughout the years.
like they say if it ain't broke, don't mess with it.
kids love catchin them as well.

id hate to see that. when i was 8 i caught one out of dc that would have been the state record. 6. 8 oz. the record then was 3 pounds and some thing. it tasted good. then i baught a slurpy from7/ 11 with current records what!!! we ate my record. boy dad herd about that one for ever. kidds love to catch them. hope there is no changes comming.
