Catfishing has slowed some since the spawn is almost over. The cats are moving
deeper towards their deep summer holes. There have been some very good catches
of catfish in the tailwaters below Kentucky Dam. Cut shad has been the best bait.
Bluegill are excellant. Willow flys have started hatching and they are really hitting
popping bugs early and late. Crappie are slow. Largemouth are being caught along
the deep points and on the shallow drop offs. Whitebass are excellant in whichever
of the two bigs lakes that have the most cruurent on any given day. Find some
current and whitebass fishing is excellant.

TIP: Willow flys have started hatching and most fish feast on them. Match the hatch.

BITS AND PIECES: A sucessful man is one who can lay a firm foundation with the
bricks others throw away.

www.kentuckylakebarkley.com
