Heading fishing on Jan 2nd. Looking at Bear Lake (boat jigging) or Hyrum Dam (ice fishing). I like big fish, but I enjoy ice fishing too. Any suggestions??

Weather wise,.....if it's looking bad at all then I'm on the ice at Hyrum.
WHat would u guys do?
