[cool][#0000ff]My sources say that the big bows and browns that were so plentiful and cooperative in November have gone deep. Most of the fish showing up for bank tanglers right now are this year's planters, and not very many of those. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]There have been a few coming from around the island (peninsula) but not enough to keep it exciting. Rainbow or chartreuse Power Baits have been the most productive. The fish are not active enough to chase lures much right now.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I was planning an open water tubing trip, but decided to wait until the water warms a few degrees next month...or freezes enough to drill and chill.[/#0000ff]

I noticed the slush on my way home from the berry yesterday. I think a few cold days could put a cap on DC.
