Did you end up at Mud Creek as you planned? Were the roads plowed?
Lousy slush! Just makes for a miserable day up there. [crazy]
Thanks for the update!

Mudcreek had a snow drift in the front of it. Looked like it was blocked today.

Doesn't sound like anything is getting plowed up there!?! I thought they had all this crap settled, but it appears otherwise or they can't keep up?

So from what I have been reading, you guys have gotten all this snow but its not been as cold this winter???
I know I fished Berry in Januarys and the ice was solid as a rock 14" thick or more.

Yeah, the year started out awesome. Early Dec. brought below normal temps and froze up about everything in a 2 week period. Then it warmed up for this time of year. It's been raining on alot of the lower lakes (Rockport, Mantua, etc). Ice is holding on, but going South quickly. I read on an almanac somewhere, they predicted a mild winter from a temps standpoint. We might be complaining/fighting this all winter. [crazy]

I saw a plow cleaning out the visitor center as I was leaving. In the morning, one of the Phillips' was running a plow from the Marina towards the entry station.

Cool! With the weather clearing up, I'm hoping it's all plowed up by Fri/Sat. Sounds like the slush is here to stay though! [unsure]

I was up there on monday and on the way out (form the marina) there was a big tractor plowing, we were in a little saturn. On the way in there was 6-8" of snow on the road and only trucks going in and us. The tractor looked like he had plowed a couple of times but was more like pushing the top of the snow off the road then plowing it all off. And it didn't have a ice/sand thrower? But if a little saturn can get in and out I guess that's good enough.
