I want to take my girl ice fishing, but with the warm weather I'm afraid of the ice. Anyone been to fish lake or know how the ice is?

I haven't been, but I'd bet you need a good drill to get thru at FL. I too worry about kids on the ice but I think it's mostly worry they are alot less likely to fall thru then the adults because of the weight factor, make sure there are no large holes near where you are fishing, I'd pick a nice day fish lake is vary cold this time of year, when I took my kid I had a shanty and glad I did. If you do, get on the weed line and she will be able to see the fish, they love that.
