Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone has ever seen this chart before? My brother forwarded it to me 2 years ago when I semi-retired from water-skiing and took up fishing. I don't know where it came from but I started using it when I took up fishing. Its harder than it looks!
In 2003, I had 0 points (Didn't fish!)
In 2004, I ended the year with 34 out of 100
In 2005, I ended the year with 69 out of 100 (Tiger Muskie really helps here!)
So far in 2006 I have 7 points...Dozens of Cutthroats from Strawberry and Electric Lake (only counts 1 point!) and a Tiger Trout from Huntington (6 points)
The way it works is that you can only end up with 100 points max for the year, and the point value for that species is only awarded once no matter how many of that species is caught.
How have you all done?
Randy

That's pretty cool...

Sadly, I ended the year with only 18 points.

And now for the rest of the story...from what I understand, that chart was designed for FLY FISHERMAN!!! I guess that is why species such as a CARP are scored so high, because they are hard to catch with a fly. I think that would be quite a rush to catch a Tiger Muskie on a fly rod!
Not I nor any of my buddies use it for fly fishing scores, we use it as our annual ANY-FISHING goal sheet. If I had to only score what I caught fly fishing for 2005 I would have only had 2 points...a brown and a cutthroat!
