Anyone fished Mantua in the last day or two that could give a current ice conditions report?

I fished on Tuesday. on the east end there was 7 inches of clear ice straigh out from the water and 12 inches farther to the east There was a few inches of snow on top of that. It snowed last night so I'm sure there are several more inches of snow on the ice now.

WE were up there today see report above. Ice good and solid 8-10 " alittle wet on top 6" of snow also

Haven't posted in quite a while....Thinking of hitting Mantua after work today. Any word on what has been working good? Last year I was told blueish/black grubs. I was planning on using boogers and whatta-crickets. Any help would be much appreciated

[black]Try an ice fly and wax worm combo. Perch patterns on the ice fly work good. Predator turned me on to some that he picked up at Sportsman's. We've done fairly good on that combo. I use a slip bobber to detect the very subtle, light bites. I can't feel those real light bites so the slip bobber works well for me.[/black]
