There is 2 to 3 inches of slush on top of 6 – 8 inches of ice. Fishing was spotty, just a matter of waiting for the fish to come through in schools. They seem to like anything but what was on my pole.

The fishing was quite spotty but good if you can find them. They are schooled up and moved thru every 5-10 minutes. They were mostly between 45-60 feet. Green was the color of choice. Orange was not bad. We used everything Green in the ice fishing tackle box. Hit everything but it was difficult to set the hook. We caught about 6 fish each (3 people). Had many more hits but couldn't set the hook.
