[cool][#0000ff]Did some reckernoiterin' with Coldfooter today. Too nice to stay inside. Found the water to thin to drill and too thick to tube.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]First stop Lindon. Coulda launched my tube, but Coldfooter didn't have much place to fish. Skim ice with birds on top in the middle. Ice from reeds out to fifty feet into the lake. No wading from the reeds.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Nothing better to do so we headed for Lincoln Beach. Water/ice way up. Skim ice in the launch channel. Also around the edges everywhere. No wading. Some open water off the end of the jetty. Tried soaking a minnow for awhile, but our hearts weren't in it. Boogied. Major "herd" of geese makin' all kinds of noise from the ice south of the Jetty.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Not a good day for fishin' but everything sure was purty with all the white stuff and the clear air.[/#0000ff]

Yep, it was to nice a day to stay in.. Glad ya stopped in.. I suppose we could have taken the skim breaker/Green Gobblen and we could have opened the channel. Heck, it was all good and I did something today I havent done in more years than I'd care to admit. I wet a line by casting it in January instead of dropping it down a ice fishin' hole.
