Fishing can be slow in the summer too the first thing you have to do is find the fish before you can catch them...
And if you set your mind in the wrong mind set to start it will be hard...
Last week at sand Hollow out of three boats we boated 30 to 40 bass in 4 hr. of fishing the last time I was up to Jordanelle I catch 5 bass in about 5 hr. and 3 or 4 slimers and still had a good day...
We have had days when we would catch 15 to 20 bass on 20 yards of shore in less then one hour, so slow is a mind set to each person...

You are so right Cliff, although the water is a little warmer down south. Are you catching any bass over four pounds at this time of the year at Jordanelle?

I have only two over 4 lb sense the 1st of the year this year has been a little slow but it will pick up soon now that the days are getting longer....
It seems that the more I try to fish for the fish that is said to be hard to catch the easier they are and even in winter they have to eat....
But I have found that I can find and catch large mouth easier then smalles....
