[cool][#0000ff]Stopped by Lindon on the way to hook up with Coldfooter. Ice still on the harbor (thin) but open water all over the lake.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Drove by Deer Creek. The main state park ramp at Walsburg is open. Saw two boats on the water later in the day.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Met up with Road and he, TubeBabe, Coldfooter and myself hit the ice on the north side of Hailstone, on Jordanelle. Fished from 1 PM to 3:30 PM. Tried several spots from 17 feet to 56 feet deep. Used a variety of baits and jigs. We got three rainbows and two BIG chubs. No browns and no perch.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Went onto the lake at the main ramp. Ice is about 4-5", with a couple of inches of slush and a little snow on top.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]The entire north end is capped, with open water from an east/west line across from the end of Hailstone area to the opposite side. Quite a few folks fishing off the PWC ramp but did not stop to check results.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Also, did not go down to Rock Cliffs. Somebody else will need to report on that.[/#0000ff]

[cool][#0000ff]FYI, the two rainbows I invited home to dinner were STUFFED with fresh perchettes about 2" long. The larger one had at least a dozen and the smaller one almost as many. Some of them were ALMOST alive, but not quite. No fear of the DWR showing up and checking my aquarium.[/#0000ff]
