I have a bad winter bug for some walleye action. Although never caught one before am open for suggestions. Anyone heard anything about Starvation. I know willard conditions as well as Deer Creek, but what about Starvation Res? All feedback is appreciated.
[cool]Last I heard, Starvation never completely froze this year, but that was a few weeks ago that I heard that. It has been pretty cold the past two weeks, so maybe it has ice now?

If I were you I'd head on out to Utah Lake for some eyes at the Provo Harbor area, Lindon, or AF Harbor. Although, with the cold temps the past few nights, it may have a skim of ice on top of it again... If not, try soaking a dead frozen minnow about 6 inches off the bottom. Good luck, and let us know how you did!

Topehaw, I have some property 8 miles from starvation. I fish it mostly for the bass or I mean carp[Wink] but the walleye action can be pretty good. I'll be heading up there in may. If you want to go remember to remind me, or something like that. I'm not exactly a "guide" but I will be more than happy to show you what I do know. Maybe we can gather some BFTers and make a get together out of it, I'm sure we can all learn something from somebody else. Not sure how to go about doing that but I'll check it out.
