3/4 day boat .....Premier, with Danny at the helm, went out of Pierpoint Wednesday but ...... I didn't go due to being at FH show. Besides I hate going down 300+ feet !!![[Image: icon_smile.gif]](http://www.fishingnetwork.net/forum1/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif)
Couple of fishing club members dropped by after doing the first rockcod trip of the season and said that they had a great day on the rockfish. They didn't hang around long enough for me to pump them for details.![[Image: icon_sad.gif]](http://www.fishingnetwork.net/forum1/images/smiles/icon_sad.gif)
They fished locally ....... around the distant Horeseshoe rigs for salmon grouper and the usual species .....chili peppers, starries, reds, and whatever else. We did ok last year there as well as points further north past Rocky Point.
I learned that the lingcod season starts April 1st NOT with the regular rockfish start. Sheephead and sculpin are legal now too! Plastics and sculpin are such a great combination!
Not much to report other than the fact that the Premier does go out on Wednesdays year-around due to our club having enough people to allow the boat to go. Still lite loads!
The Premier will go to a Spring/Summer schedule May 1st. ALSO the '2 for 1 Tuesday' program will be back as of May 1st! (2nd adult fishes for free with 1 paid adult fare..... check details)
Fishing the Tradition for rockfish next week. Don't like rockfishing but maybe I'll get to pull on something else if I try hard! Jerk-it w/2oz or 3oz leadhead ought to hang a ling if I'm ?? lucky ?? Fishy going back anyways.
Everybody know how to release the air in Fishys' air bladder? Please learn and let's make it possible to release short and fish that would otherwise be over-limit by-catch.
