I guess I should have been more specific. The lures I am referring to are made by a man named Dick Zimmer of Zimmers Tackle in Pable, Montana. He designes and hand makes lures for a HUGE variety of fish. I have now moved to Montana from Utah where his lures get some attention, I was amazed to find his operation here. I am curious about how many of you have had a chance to use them?? Also I can facilitate further info on getting them, i will send photos. He has very reasonable prices!

Zimmer lures are great. I use the "Leadagator" and the "Trilobite" when jigging for Mackinaw(Lake Trout). The guy who makes them keeps adding new lures all the time. He is also known as "The Mac Man" to many people in the cities around Flathead lake in MT. I will try to remember to take some photos of mine and post them. There isn't much to them and I've never seen a lure like them before and they do work well!!!
If you like fishing for Mac's/Laker's you should get a hold of some of these! I would be more than willing to facilitate if need be...

That's great you've got that info Neptune. I think all of us anglers would like to see what all the hype is about with the zimmer lure. Maybe we can get him to send us a few to test out. [cool]
We'll be looking foward to your post of the pictures and info!

Sorry for the HUGE delay...finally got a working URL from Dick Zimmer on his available tackle.
Now if you want to talk about Mack's(Lake Trout) this guy knows his stuff. Around the Flathead valley he is refered to as "The Mack Man". If you have some spare time and want to learn something give him a call and he will give you an ear full...

pay particular attention to the "Leadagator", "Trilobite", and the "Rattle D Zastor"... all catch fish...I personally have caught Laker's, Whitfish, and even Bull trout on these babies....
Good Fishing all!

I met the man himself, Dick Zimmer and the 2006 Fall Mack Days tournament awards "Fish Fry"! Great guy and he got second place for the smallest Lake Trout--6.5" and won $250.00, first prize for smallest went to a 5.5" Laker....man that thing was tiny!

Hello SFF,
Did he ever go by Mr. Zimmer lures? That seems to ring a bell but I'm not sure. He seems to have a great line of tackle though!
