Had a late start fishing willard this morning but getting home from work at 9 PM friday didn't help either . So I slept in . [] I arrived a little after 9:00am .Launch from the south marina and hooked up on something nice right past the bouys but by the time I had rod in hand it went limp . Set it back down and tried to get my second rod out and I look over at my other rod and my side planer is going under and line was peeling off my reel . Grab my rod and battled with it for about 1 minute and lost another fish . Finally get both rods out and sit down and bam , another hit and this time I netted a 20" wiper .

The inlet seem to hold some feeders but with all the traffic in and out I went west for about 30 minutes and picked up another 19" wiper .

After that it slowed down , but did get a big brownie on the same lure (see pic ) .

Lure was trash after that . Couldn't get it to track right after the big brownie . Tried about 10 different lures after that and couldn't buy a bite . Even drifted over some fish with bait and nada . Started out hot but slowed down for me today . Left at 3:00 pm .

Nice report,did you get the water temp?
I sent you a pm I didn't know you went out today.
What lure was working today a diver or a lipless.

I was using Wally Divers with the hope of getting a eye . Water temp was anywhere from 51* to 55* on the south side of the pond .

You have always been an expert at catching those browns, nice fish!

Our catching was spaced out threw the whole day,6 fish in the first 7 hours but the last two hours produced nothing.

Hey now ! I was trying to get to carpunisher and make him jealous . At least I caught all my fish in the first hour and skunk the remaining 4 hours . I really thought I had the big ole walleye on He He . All were released to fight again , so you can hook him too . Don't worry , I'll teach you . How can you go again tomorrow ? I'm telling Skippy . I'm in the dog house again today for going fishing so I didn't tell her I spent 80$ at Sportsmans .. Why not go again . I told Fishinfool I couldn't go tomorrow but you never know with me . Found out my livewell is making my boat take on some water . Tore it apart tonight to have a looksee and it has been cracked with a repair job that didn't last . I don't think I want to repair it so time to spend more money on b.o.a.t .

I can't wait for the tourney. It's gonna be fun (especially since I'm competing this year and not just a boat driver)!
