Hi, I have been asked to teach some boy scouts to fly fish. While I have a couple of rods and reels I can use, I am looking to get into some cheap setups for the group. We all know what damage a twelve year old can do to a rod and I don't really want to put a nice one in their hands.

If anyone is selling or getting rid of an el cheapo rod or reel, please shoot me an email at Lyricsdad@gmail.com and I would be interested in taking it off your hands. I would probably be able to get you a tax receipt from the BSA if you would like also.

Thanks.

The troop has about seven boys. We can use all we can get but can also share too.

Grateful for anything. Thanks.

I don't know what state you're in, but in Utah the DWR has a library of fishing equipment that you can check out for 2 weeks. You might check with your Fish and Game department and see if they have a similar program. Good luck!
