Headed to deep creek Sat. It was a perfect weather day to be out fishing. The water was a little murky and very cold. We only caught 6 nice rainbows but it was slow through out the day. We tried trolling and then ended up catching a few on the fly. Just nice to be out on the lake again.

Thanks for the Deep Creek update. I was there a couple of weeks ago, just as the ice was coming off. I only caught one fish on a fly. What kind of flies did you catch your fish on?

Green or black wooly buggers worked the best. The fish seem ed shallow maybe trying to warm up a little.
