[#0000bf]Hi: just to let everybody know the fish in this area is picking up. I will be updating this post about once a week or more depending on how the fishing info changes.[/#0000bf]

[#0000bf]OK Palies Lake is starting to pickup a little and the fish are hitting power baits and lures and the dam and west side of the lake is the best fishing and you don't have to pay State Park fees to fish in them areas. If you take the dam road just before you hit the first gate for the State park. If you like to golf being your clubs and hit a round at the golf course if the fishing get slow. Oh I forgot you can use a boat on here with a electric motor.[/#0000bf]
[#0000bf]Now for Nine Mile Res. the fish is start to get better and you can catch a lot of small fish trolling and they have been hitting different types of lures and the rapala has work good some times. My last 4 times out I was catching 8 to 15 fish in a hour all about 1/2 to 1 lbs. and been getting some in the 2 to 3 lbs. range too. The fishing on the bank has been slow to good but you have to find the fish by working your way down the bank and when you find where they are, fishing with a lure is real good but the boat is hard to bet. The big ones are still in the spawn mode but are done spawning just staying along the banks and not feeding. some of the bigger ones have left the bank and you should have a good chances of getting one 6 plus lbs.[/#0000bf]

[#0000bf]Now for Yuba Res. the big rainbows are starting to hit and you can get them in a boat trolling or on the bank and in the next 2 weeks the bit should be about as good as it will get for the rest of the summer. Best things to use are ( jakes, flat fish, rapala's and don't forget the power bait. ) Now for the eye's I have not seen anybody get any and it seem to be slow right now, but the water is starting to warm up and the walleyes should do the same.[/#0000bf]

[#0000bf]All other lakes in this area is slow are still frozen over, so give them about 2 to 3 weeks and they should start to pick up. The DWR should have the fish stocking report up on their site in 1 to 2 weeks for the ones that want to see what is planted and where. [/#0000bf]
