[#0000ff]Just wanted to let Coldfooter's friends know that I visited him today and he is much improved. He still has a short haircut, with a wicked looking scar on his head, and he still has a lot of wires and tubes hooked up to his cantankerous old frame, but he is more like the Coldfooter we know and love.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]His biggest beef...besides getting chicken in all his hospital meals...was that he was supposed to be fishing with Fishley on Flaming Gorge today. Not gonna happen.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]We joked about how whenever somebody is describing the taste of some kind of meat they say "Tastes like chicken". Don claims that the hospital is able to create meals from chicken that DON'T taste like chicken.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]He was alert and smiling today, so I read him the copy of all the posts you have made on his thread. He is surprised and moved by the show of concern and support shown by BFTers.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]If he continues to improve, he will be out of ICU on Sunday, and then only a couple more days in a hospital bed until he goes home. It is hard to say who will be happier to see him out of the hospital...him or the hospital staff. I'm sure all of us are pulling for him.[/#0000ff]
