[cool] Went to Tibble Fork Res on Sunday 4/31. Went up with the dog, stayed on the far south east end of the lake where it was wooded. Took George with me and he went crazy [crazy], he sure did enjoy himself. Did not catch anything, but I had a good time with the dog who DOESNT bark at anyone. He is a good dog, Tibble fork never produces anything for me, I dont go to the lake to fish, its more like I go there to sit and there just so happens to be a pole in the water. Saw someone start a fire circle right on the edge of the lake, then saw the rangers come with there shovels and put it out. The rangers must have lectured those folks for a half hour. Dont start fires near the lake!!

Glad you had a good time with your buddy.... I'd take my two idiots but they run around just like... well, idiots I guess. They don't pester anyone, but they just like to check everything out and that includes water I'm fishing in. [unsure] Neither of them are cut either so they have a little dominant dog attitude and I don't want anyone else to have to deal with that mess so I leave them home most of the time.

I dont know if they have stocked it, I would say no. But I dont know why they wouldnt have, it is clear of snow and very nice up there right now. If they have not yet, I am sure they will be soon. There are a good number of people fishing up there now.

Yea, dogs can be tricky. The trick is to get them used to being out there, then the will learn how to behave. I have two dogs, and one of em I never bring because it is a yiper. George the Bassett, I started taking him everywhere since he was a pup and so when I take him to the lake, its something he is used to and knows, so he doesnt go all spastic and ape like on the place. So if you cant take your dog with you all the time, that can be tough.

I was looking at my dad's fish stocking schedule and I know that there were a bunch of lakes being stocked today, May first. I know they were doing Salem Pond, but for some reason that is the only one I remember. I have to think that they would do Tibble at the same time or very soon after.

Yea i bet they stock it very soon if they did not do it today like you said! There is no reason not to!!
