Saturday morning I was fishing with my kids at Utah Lake and amongst all the confusion (which you know about if you've fished with little kids), I left my pole, wallet, knife, and pliers at the lake.

When I realized it, I threw the kids back in the car and sped back to the lake. I had a tackle box stolen from Vivian Park last time, so I still had a bad taste in my mouth from that.

When I arrived, there was a truck parked at my spot and a guy standing there. He told me he had called the police and was watching over my stuff until they arrived. He knew if he left it would probably disappear.

Anyway, he called off the cops and made my day. Thank you, whoever you are. You give outdoorsmen everywhere a good name!

Nice story and extra nice to hear that we still have sportsmen who care. I hope ya pointed out to the kids what a great thing that gentelmen did. Can't point out good examples to often IMHO.
