Well,
I ran down to the cabin this weekend (duck creek village) to fill my turkey tag...nada..had alot of birds around but none of them wanted to commet to my decoy. So I decided (after 2 days of frustraion) to load up the family in the new megacab and ran down to sand hollow res to see if all the great bass fishing was real or not.Well it is real and i suggest get down there!!!!..IT WAS AWSOME!!!.It took the sting of the turkyless weekend. We stayed for a few hours and I caught over 30 bass.A few guys around on float tubes and boats where hammering the HUGE bluegills. My biggest bass was about 3 pounds and the rest were about a pound. What a blast its like a mini lake powell.I was just wading up to my waste and the water was around 65-70 degrees.I am heading back down in a few weeks for a turkey but definitly sticking some bass to!!
