Fishing Forum

I am thinking about going up to pineview this week some time with my wife and father in law. How is the fishing? what should we use? Any sugestions would be great.

Pineview has been really slow so far. There is still a ton of cold water pouring into the lake. Today it was really windy which has muddied the water up good. Give it another week or two and with the warm weather coming, it should get better.

Me and the wife stayed there this past weekend. We both caught a carp. Hers was larger than mine. The guy right next to us was catching carp and some small yellow perch. Slow for us, but he and his kids had the right spot. He was a local and knew where the hole was. We kinda fished next to the hole. Had plenty of bites and only two hook-ups. Still had fun on our mini-vacation.
