My inlaws will be up here in a few weeks and we are spending some time down at fish lake for vacation. I've been reading posts and it seems many anglers prefer chub and sucker meat for the Macks over perch.

So I need to find a place I can get a few suckers or get some chubs. I'd prefer not to buy them at Sportsman but find a place I could get them close to Orem. Say within an hours drive.

If anyone has any hints or ideas I'd sure appreciate it.

[cool][#0000ff]You can catch suckers in the Jordan River right now, if you can find the right spot. They are Utah suckers...not June suckers. There are chubs in Jordanelle, Strawberry and many other lakes. Easy to catch with cast nets, minnow traps or even hook and line.[/#0000ff]

The Jordan for sure. Suckers are in full spawn right now. Look for any gravel bars in slack water, and you should get into them.
