[]hey we just got back from pelican lake last week and we had a great time bass and bluegill fishin. My question is has anyone fished red fleet lately if so how is the fishing right now. I have fished at pelican lake alot but have never fished red fleet. I have heard that there are lots of bluegills not as big as pelican lake but supposedly there are some good size bass in there. I just want to go and have another good day catchin and releasin those bass and bluegills. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I think that we are going to go there fishin on sunday. thanks trfishin

I have not fish fleet this year yet, and most likely won't with gas prices such a long drive for me. But did last year, didn't catch any gills but their in there. I did catch 10 lg mouth bass. in the short 2 hrs. I was there. None of any real size, fish the canyon arm on the north side of the lake just as you lauch. follow the walls all the way back and pitch at the walls and rocks with jigs, worms or whatever does it for you. Thats were I have always done the best. Good luck!
