Fished Jordanelle today from 9:00 to 3:00. Bass were hard to find just like they usually are for me. Probably caught 10-15. The largest was 2.5#. Just before I left I found a school of perch. They were in the very back of a canyon under some floating logs. I would cast a worm next to the logs, let it sink, and reel in a fish. I tried using a bobber but it wouldn't work. I either couldn't get it close enough to the logs or the worm wasn't deep enough. So, went back to losing a hook to a snag every three or four casts. I left the camera home again. So, the only picture is of the perch that came home for dinner.

Nice job on getting into a few perch. I was up there today as well (in the tube). The bass were hitting green stickbaits pretty consistently. Most of the smallies were smallish for the X, but a couple of bigger ones showed up too. I got 1 porky perch as well, but no schools. Water temps were 64-65 degrees. It was a nice day on the water.

I talked to you. I was in the White Aluminum boat. I caught my largest bass right afer you went back across to the other side.

Good to meet ya! That general area where you got the big one has always been money the past couple of years. I'm glad it came through again. Good fishin on your next trip out.
