It's about time for me to make a report. I haven't made one in a while, so I'll make it a long boring one..[Wink]

My daughter and I stopped by Glendale and found the whole area around the ramp and facilities had turned into a trailer park with a boat at every trailer. We just said no to launching there.

Trailed on over to Foster and found we had the pond to ourselves, so we left the gas motor in the pickup and launched with just the electric motors.

We slowly eased on around the outside edge of the weed bed with me chuckin' spinner baits and shad rap type cranks and the daughter looking down around the weeds to see what fishes were swimming there. Lots of small LM bass, perch and bluegill. My daughter was getting bored and took off on the Kayak. She took her fishing pole and reeled in a couple 10/12" bass on a small jig. In the mean time I found the larger (in comparison) bass wanted a Texas rigged Berkley power worm.

I wasn't catching anything with any size to it, so we decided to jig up a mess of Perch. They wanted a bit of Smelly Jelly on a little jig. Out of every 10 we caught 2 were keepers.... guess I should have used a bigger jig. We took home 8 or 10 Perch and a couple good sized Bluegill.

Thought I was going to get stuck getting the boat out of there on the muddy shore you use for a ramp.

Thanks for the report.
