There are not many walleye in the Snake River. I have heard that a few have been showing up in Brownlee and downstream of there. There are no walleye in the Snake upstream of Shoshone Falls (by Twin Falls). I have never caught or seen a walleye caught in the Snake River but I don't fish the West side of the state much.
What part of the Snake did you catch Walleye years ago?

I've been fishing Brownlee heavy for 3 years now at both ends. And I haven't seen nor heard of any eye's being caught, but that don't mean there's none in it. I've been a walleye fisherman for years, but since moving from Washington to Idaho I've pretty much given up. I wouldn't be surprised if someone planted some in it. Heck, Lake Washington over by Seattle has some in it now and of course we've all heard about Pend Oreille having some recently shocked.
Where abouts did you catch them?
