Just purchased some reapers from Sportsmans yesterday, they look sweet! Just wondering if anyone can recommend rigging methods and overall techniques with this jig. The guy at sportsmans said to run a hook through the head or to use a jig head. Any help will be greatly appreciated, I am heading out to pineview tonight for a test run.

[cool]The maker of Maniac Custom Lures (James) just so happens to be a member of this site, and his moniker is maniac (what a coincidence, eh?) I would send him a p.m., or go and visit his website: www.maniaccustomlures.com Good luck up there. Hope you slay 'em.

As out4trout said go to the maniac web site and you will find a rigging methods section that gives you an explanation on how to rig plastic lures and photo's of the rigs. The split shot rig has been good for me as well as drop shot and texas rig. thanks for the support and good luck.

[#ff4040]I have texas rigged the reapers, and have done quite well catching bass with them. I have thought about drop shotting them, but have yet to do so... I'm not that big on drop shotting for some odd reason.[/#ff4040]

The same colors for the 2-1/2" as the 3-1/2" if you want to see other colors offered then just tell me and I will see what I can do.
The 2-1/2" should be available in September and the 1-1/2" ice cut'r in October. The ice cut'r will be available in Glo in the dark, pearl white, chartruese, pink, orange and maybe white and pink laminate or swirl. We will have to see how those last colors turn out.
If you want to see other ice fishing colors , just request them and maybe you will be surprised. I'm sure you will be able to get all of these at your local Sporting goods store, and if you dont see them there then just request them and the store will usually stock the products that are being requested. And naturally you can order from the Maniac web site.
Good luck and good fishing!
