This is a question for Tube Dude or any other computor guru. I enjoy reading your photo essays, but the photo would be more enjoyable if I could see to whole photo on the screen at the same time. I get about 1/4 of the photo on screen. Then I have to scroll to see the rest of the photo. However when I pull up photos at work the computor automaticly resizes the photo to fit the whole thing on the screen. So I think its just a computor setting. I found a spot on the internet options of the control board that says "enable auto resizing" but it was already checked. I don't know where else to look. So, can you help me? Thanks for this and all your other hard work.

1. "right click" on the desktop ... "left click" on "Properties".

2. Click on the "Settings Tab"

3. Click on the "Screen Resolution" Slide Bar ... Slide this bar over till the resolution reads 1024 X 768.

4. Click "OK"

Ok, I tried that. But the computor is already set on those settings. Do you have any other suggestions?

Yeah ... try setting the pixels at: 1280 X 600
What is your text settings?

In your browser window .. there are 6 menu items to chose from on top. Go to the "View" menu then to text size. Set the size to medium or smaller.

PM me your contact info and i can help you out.

I tried 1280X600. It distorted the screen. I tried changing the text. I was already on medium so I tried smallest. It made the text to small to read. Neither of these had any effect on the pictures.

[cool][#0000ff]Sorry, but I ain't a computer ex-spurt. My computer displays all the pics at viewable size, but has the option of enlarging some of them, depending on the file sizes. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]We have a policy of not posting pictures larger than 400 pixels wide in the body of the post, but we can attach larger pics without including them in the post. If your settings are off, the pics will display their full size, rather than "viewable" size.[/#0000ff]

It doesn't sound like Automatic Image Resizing is enabled to me. When you hover your mouse over the picture after it has loaded do you see a little icon pop-up with arrows pointing in (or out) at the corners? You should if it's enabled.

In Internet Explorer (I'm assuming you're not using FireFox) go to the Tools pull-down menu and select Internet Options. Select the Advanced tab and scroll down the list until you see a Multimedia grouping. Enable Automatic Image Resizing is in that grouping. Enable it by clicking the check box. If it's already enabled you may want to clear it, click the Apply button, enable it again, and then close Internet Options.

I tried all those thing and it is still the same. Maybe it the MSN Explorer and I will have to live with it.

I went back to the old Internet Explorer that we were using before we signed up with Quest and now the pictures are resizing just the way they are supposed to. The only problem is all my favorites list is on the other browser. Oh well!
