I took a week and went to West Marsh Lake camping-N-Fishing. We didn't do well at West Marsh Lake, so we drove over to Lower Lyman lake and caught our limits within a hour & a 1/2. They were planters, but caught a couple of real nice Rainbows. Spent some of our time travelin' the area as I have not been there for 20 years. Beautiful area and lots of lakes and rivers to fish as well as ATV trails (some dead-ended). We fished over at Stateline dam and also caught our limits of Rainbows. The last evening we were there, drove the ATV's to Thunderbolt Mountain in which we saw about 100 head of elk that we spooked. what a great week it was. The weather was not bad at all either.

Happy Fishing to ya-ll

I did take pics. As soon as I get them done, I will post. I love the Uintas myself. My dad used to go up there and took us throughout my young life and he taught me to love and respect the great outdoors. We went to so many different places in the Uintas and I haven't been to some of the places he took us in so long, that I'm checking them out again. Thanks for the welcome to here

Did you catch any nice ones at stateline. Were you fishing from shore with a fly and bubble?

Mom caught the nice one, about 10" Rainbow off the shore with powerbait and a bubble. Most were planters, but they were tasty cooked in tinfoil with butter and lemon pepper.[Wink]
