[black]Got a friend and some scouts headed for Whitney Reservoir and was wondering on any tips they could use to hook a fish or two there. Also any info on conditions, etc would be appreciated. Thanks for any info![/black]

Give me a call, Whitney is where I elk hunt at!

I fish Whitney occasionally and have usually done well. In the mornings and evenings, the fish are often cruising the shallower areas looking for food. A worm below a clear bubble works well. As do woolly buggers. For the fly guys, there is often a great callibaetis hatch that keeps the fish very interested. Size 14, 16 Adams work perfectly. For lures, the Jakes Spin-A-Lure has worked for me in the past.
