Alright everyone. It's been heap big long time since I've gotten into my tube. Going out Sunday the 13th and want to make the best of it. WHERE should I go? It's gonna be a long time before I get out again. Don't wanna just bob around all day. Location doesn't matter but prefer within 3-4 hours of Davis County.

Scrollfish, I'd want to go where I had options in case my first water was slow. With that in mind, I would suggest either the Uintas (Mirror Lake Highway) or the lakes above Fairview (Gooseberry, Electric, Cleveland, Millers Flat, Fairview Lakes, Benches Pond, Boulger Res). Keep in mind that it's $3 for a day pass to the Mirror Lake Hwy. Many lakes are very near the road. Many more are within 1m hikes from trailheads/parking lots. The Fairview area lakes are all near the road. For you, Uinta Lakes are probably closer (I-15 to SL, I-80 to HWY 40, HWY that runs E of Jordanelle to Kamas, U-150 (Mirror Lake HWY is 25m to Trial Lake.

[cool]Depends on what kind of fish you want to target. If slimers, then go to the places that the guy up above suggested. Or, you could also go to Strawberry, and if it's slow there (which it probably would be from a tube this time of year while most fish are deeper), then you could go on up to Current Creek Res, where it's almost impossible to not catch slimers.
If you want warm water fish, then there's a ton of places. I'd head to Willard first and try around the marina's first. If you don't get some wipers, cats, crappies or smallies, then just head 20 minutes up the road to Mantua where the fishing is really hot right now. Good luck, and let us know how you did...

Thanks guys. Still not sure what to do. Love to catch the bass and panfish but wouldn't mind the calm and quiet of the Uinta's. Haven't had much luck with catching lately. Wednesday-Pineview-one 10 inch smallie[unsure]. Thursday-Lost Creek-skunked[crazy]. Friday-Pineview-skunked[mad]. Frustrating. Maybe I'll fish the banks of Willard and Mantua tonight and spend the day in the Uinta's tomorrow. Wish me luck! I need it!!!
