I am having a lttle trouble with tying a deer hair popper. Every time I tie, it looks good until I trim it down. Then it looks like it has about 50 cowlicks in it. I can tie a mean Muddler Minnow, but the popper is giving me fits. I just cant figure it out. I use a hair stacker, and have a good hair packer, and when I tie I try to keep the hair as straight as possible. I just cant get it right. Anyone out there have any suggestions?
