[cool][#0000ff]I'm not aware of any special tools. I have always cut rubber hackle by stretching it and then cutting across it slowly with sharp scissors. The individual threads spring loose as they are cut. (see attached pic)[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I suspect that tubes are cut by machine as part of the process in commercial manufacturing. I'm sure that those who make their own tubes have a system. You might check in with Coldfooter. I know he has been making some tubes.[/#0000ff]
