crawled out of bed early today to get the morning bite out at rockcliff. and man was it on. was on the water by 8 am. i started out just dragging a wolly bugger behind me, landed 2 decent rainbows. then the wolly stopped producing so i switched over to a 3 inch shad on a white head. the knocked the bass dead. had about 5 in an hour. then it got real slow. wind picke dup, i landed a nice 20 in rainbow, and that was it for me, headed in to shore. i kept one 11 in smallie for some fish tacos. decent morning on the lake. i was driving out by 11.
