[unimpressed] Foul weather and side affects of the hurricanes have slowed the fishing some for Walleye and other speices! Muskie fishing in Lake St Clair has been slow but the season for the Big Dogs is here. With the coming of Sept, Oct and Nov those big females start feeding more heavily to prepare to store energy for the winter months like a bear, but they do not hibernate they just spawn early as do most members of the essox family!

so true, this time of year seperates the hunters from the anglers, the next couple 3 months makes for an anglers wonderland in the great lakes states, on three accounts,

The majority of anglers will be tramping though the woods for small game and deer,

The majority of pleasure boaters wont be sunbathing in the clouds and artic breezes that start comming down from alberta this time of year,

These two accurances makes for a lot less crouding on the lakes and rivers, and when you add on the fact you stated about walleyes and other species puttin the feed bag truly makes it an anglers paridise.
