ecoli is contagous, a person who is infected with it can spread it to others by handling food.

the illness has taken one life is wisconson and made many others ill all over the country.

People at most risk of sever symptoms are the young, elderly, people with cronic illness, people taking antibiotics are highly susceptable to ecoli and any other food borne illness.

the report says they have tracked the out break over 17 states to spinach but they dont know the sorce for the spread, meaning if it was a farmer at fault errigating with contaminated water or a migrant worker who is carrying the illness who handled the harvest.

what gets me is they cant track it back to one processing plant or one farm, the only thing that makes any kind of sence is we have a migrant worker going from farm to farm in a couple three day period or a group of migrent workers who are carying the virus and spreading by food handling.

plant, especialy leafy vegitables obsorb moisture and if it is contaminated with the virus by erigation or hangling by an infected person, an infected cow would have to literly walk in to the feilds and leave presents,

in your occupation have you ever worked with the CDC or the FDA handling food or other local health concerns? food poisoning in a resturant or contaminated beaches ect....

I wonder if this is the doings of a family of sasquach that made the mistake of drinking from the sespool at the water treatment plants and and ralfed in the spinich feilds? Ok now I am beening silly, I dont take food born illness lightly, I too have suffered several life threating food born illnesses in my life time. With out a doubt when you when you get a bad case of it you feal like you are going to die, and in some cases ya almost wish you were. the pain is excrutiating to say the least.

8 top name brands brands thus far have been identified with the contamination, including Dole...

personaly I am glad I heard about it when I did, I ususaly get the spinach tomato soup when I eat out.
