It has been cold for 1 day surely there is some place that is walkable?[]

James, Don't get everyone talking about ice fishing so early in the year. I like ice fishing as much as anyone but lets take care of this fantastic fall fishing first.

as cold as it is down this way i'm sure thar the edges of huntington are getting a little icey! [sly]

i'm sure it's still around 10 weeks away tho.

last year fairview lakes was first to be walkable 3 days later huntington.. that was the 17th of November for fairview lakes and 20th of November for huntington..

so enjoy the fall fishing for the next 9 weeks then the ice will be on! [sly]

[cool][#0000ff]You can always sneak into the ice skating rink, but the concrete under the ice really messes up the edge on your auger. Fishing is always good but the catching ain't usually very productive.[/#0000ff]

Don't worry I have had the itch'in to go ice fishing for about a month now. I hope powell will cure that for a bit!

Well James, I realize you've been known to get out on a heavy frost to cut some holes. So hopefully ... any day now!

this will be a late season ice, no ice on scolfield till late dec. ill be fishing in a boat till january[]
