Sunday,
Went to lake mead to rent a boat to get some fishing in and they shut down fishing boat rentals due to wind. went down to the fish hatchery and plugged around without success. Many people fishing I did not see any bent rods. So off to other places around Mead no luck place looked empty fish wise. Decided to head down to Willow for the afternoon bite and wouldnt you know it........Hover is closed apparently the wind blew the crane over so no access. Hmmmmmm I am determined to fish so jump on the route to cottonwood and they are shut down due to wind. also funny thing is no white caps or anything like that in the lake. Too crowded to even try. Back up north headed up by Nelson......looks like some place they could film a horror show, you know the scene where your running into an abandoned home and the zombie pops up thru the floor in the middle of the house. Saw a few promising coves but they were taken pack it up. No fish today but a lot of knowledge gained on the other parts of the lakes.


Work is for people that dont fish.

Sorry to hear you didn't get any good fishing in. I just sent you an email with pics from googleearth.com that'll have the info on Temple Bar. It's brought me over a thousand stripers through the last few years, and I hope it does the same for you.
