a total of 28 bald eagles have presumably died of a mesterious neuroligical disease AVIAN VACUOLAR MYELINOPATHY . the disease first surfaced in 1994 in arkinsas and then in south carilonia in 1998 . it has been found every year since at lake thurmound, murray , par pond and the savannah rivers sites L lake .
