Anyone going to brave the elements this weekend? I'm going, just not sure where yet.
I would love to, but probably be stauck doing honey-do's. If I do get a chance to get out I am going to try Jordanelle.

I'm headed to Strawberry on Saturday to fish at first light. I'll be facing the elements in my inflatable canoe. This time I'LL wear the life jacket. Usually I tie my tackle box to it, in case of any unexpected events. [cool]

It's gonna be cold. I heard we're expecting over 14 inches of snow in the mountains in Utah. I'll be sure to post a report of my findings up there...

Stay dry. I bet you'll do quite well! We're going to try to go up the following weekend.
Good luck, and we'll look forward to your report!

Heading to strawberry to try and be on the water before the first light - any recommended place or "thing to use" on the lake?

[cool]Well, It's Saturday morning and perfectly sunny and beautiful outside with the high temp at 58 today in the valley. Might be a little cool this weekend, but if I wasn't going to mecca (i.e. Lavell Edwards Stadium) to watch the Cougars crush the practice squad from Logan (sorry, BLM), I'd be out enjoying some beautiful fall fishing weather! Those walleye at Utah Lake should be coming in closer to shore by now, and the big troutski's at Yuba, Strawberry, Scofield, Jordanelle, Deer Creek, Bear Lake, etc. should be really turning on about now too, so get out there and enjoy it this weekend!!!! I wouldn't think that the smallie and bluegill fishing has quit yet either, so there's another option!!
