Hi, I'm headed up to Bear Lake tomorrow, and was just wondering what depth the fish are at right now. I usually fish in 70-80 feet of water, but it sounds like they are not as deep right now. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I would suggest checking out the rock piles north of the marina, in front of the marina riprap, the original rock pile, Cisco Beach area, and any other places that have suitable habitat (gravel and rocks) that attract spawning macks.[/black]

The spawn can be a very frustrating time to catch fish for a lot of people. The fish aren't feeding but spawning. Reproduction is the only thing on their minds. Successful spawn fishermen have learn to adapt to this seasonal behavior and use it to their advantage. Good luck.
