MINNEAPOLIS - Tune in to "FLW Outdoors" Sunday, Nov. 26, beginning at 11 a.m. EST on FSN (Fox Sports Net) to watch the fiercest competitors in tournament redfishing close out the 2006 season at the Wal-Mart FLW Redfish Series Championship in Pensacola, Fla. Having qualified for the $300,000 season-ending event through the Eastern or Western divisions of the $1.9 million Redfish Series, the best 100 teams battle for a top award of $100,000.

The top five teams surviving the opening-round cut are followed from takeoff to weigh-in, allowing the audience to feel the anglers' nerves, listen to their strategies and learn from their mistakes. The stories evolve and the suspense grows throughout the one-hour show until the final weigh-in results are announced.

In a three-day tournament that saw many teams heading way east or west from the Pensacola takeoff point to find their reds, most of the five teams that made the cut into the finals rose to the top by sticking close to home base and fishing docks.

But after a week's worth of refining a dock pattern near Pensacola during practice, Jason Hughey of Davenport, Fla., and Travis Tanner of Christmas, Fla., have also unlocked the combination to their first-ever final-round appearance in a series event.

Exhibiting consistency during championship competition are Kris Walter of Hudson, Fla., and Danny Winters of Tampa, Fla., the only team to retain a top-five standing wire to wire by adapting to a dock pattern after being blown out of their primary spot. Eager for a championship win after a fifth-place finish earlier in the season, however, are FSN's "Addictive Fishing" host Blair Wiggins of Cocoa, Fla., and partner Tadd Vandemark of Key Largo, Fla., who are fishing riverine areas in nearby bays.
