Please, can someone give me some advise on how to catch TILAPIA on a rod and reel...A few of us have become interested in tilapia that are stocked in some power plant lakes here in Texas but nobody seems to fish for them... Two species, the Spotted, and the Blue. They are running up to 6 lbs... Would like to know best BAIT.... Thanks

I caught a blue tilapia by accident once goin for blue gill with a peice of bread and a small hook. you should try that.

I like snagging them caught one nearly three pund like that
Not sure if your allowed to snag them,check your state fishing laws lol
Anyway yea a good meathod using rod and reel,try to get them at night when their sleep swimming
