Fishing Forum

A couple of my buddies and one of my buddies kids went to huntington today.. had to try my new power ice auger... got there about 1000... not a bite for the first hour... I actually didnt see a fish caught for the first hour.. we were just about to move when I changed my fishing style..then we started getting into them.. ended up catching about 30 between the four of us... the largest was about 17 inches and the smallest was about 14 inches... weather was perfect... all in all a great day..

Good to hear that they are still biting. How deep was the snow? It usually gets really deep and the ice gets thicker as the end of the month gets here. Thats why i havent been able to ice fish huntington. []

there was only a couple of inches of snow on top of about ten inches of ice.... there was a lot more snow on the banks of the shores...
